Celina Rydén Certified Nail Artist 2022 – Level 1

A five-day class to take you to the next level as a nail artist.

DESCRIPTION

This is the class for you if you want to take your craft as a nail artist to the next level. In this five-day class we will focus on structure – getting that perfect shape working with competition style techniques that I use with my clients. Nailing that French ombre, getting perfect smile lines working with the reverse technique, perfect color application, speed, prep – how to prevent lifting, proper removal, extensions and even social media and photography training (watch video from the first Certified group at the bottom of this page).

You’re going to need a model for the for the last third days. The first two days we’re working on our own nails.

After the five-day class you go home and you have to create a certain amount of sets for three months, perfecting the techniques that we have been covering. Half way in you’ll send in a couple of pictures of the work that you’ve done which you’ll get feedback on.

After three months there will be a practical test at my studio. After completion and passing the criterias (that you’ll get at the class to practice with), you’ll recieve a beautiful certificate and the title ”Celina Rydén Certified Nail Artist – Level 1” and also be featured here on my website as one of my “recommended nail techs” and a badge to put up on your website.

Here’s an example of the schedule (this may vary a bit):

Day 1: Welcome! Basic prep, prevent lifting, natural pink design, overlay, extensions with forms, how to customize the form, color application, sandwich technique, shaping.

Day 2: Repetition from day 1. Proper removal, glitter application, glitter ombre, french designs, reverse, french ombre.

Day 3: Repetition from day 1-2. Model natural/color/glitter. Model french ombre.

Day 4: Repetition from day 1-3. Model french reverse. Model – student’s choice.

Day 5: Social media. Model – student’s choice + photography assignment. See you soon!

Light breakfast and snacks/coffee/tea is included every day (the rumors of the amazing snacks table and the coffee has already been spreading through Sweden).

I am going to work with Light Elegance products however you are more than welcome to work with whatever brand you wish. If you want to have a trial kit with smaller sizes of the products that I’m mainly going to use at the class, please add that into the class application form and I’ll send you some prize information.

There will also be possible to buy some products at the studio as well. Please let me know if there’s something specific you want me to keep in stock for you.

The class has a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 8. The class will be taught in Swedish but if someone signs up who only speaks English the class will be both Swedish and English.

Lidingö is a beautiful island just 10 minutes by car to Stockholm City. The studio is located right next to the local community center with several stores and food places.

WORKSHOP FAQ

Please read thru this FAQ before applying

Q: WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING FOR THE CLASS?

A: You will get an email about one week before the class with the products that you need to bring. I will have some products for you to use at the class and some you need to bring. I would recommend ordering the “Celina Rydén Signature Nail Art Brush Kit” for the nail art classes or bring something similar. Other from nail products you will have to bring your own UV/LED lamp and an extension cord.

Q: WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEES FROM ME IF I WANT TO REGISTER?

A: We will need your full name, email address, phone number, company name and company number for the invoice. If you have a private company then we need your ID number. If you are not a Swedish resident then we will need the VAT number for your company as well.

Q: WILL LUNCH BE PROVIDED AT THE CLASS?

A: Lunch will not be provided, however I will have coffee, tea and snacks ready for you during the day. There are several lunch places around the salon and I will help you to find the place you want to go to. You can also bring your own lunch if you want to. We have a fridge and a microwave for your disposal if needed.

Q: DO I GET A RECEIPT WHEN I'VE PAID?

A: Yes, you’ll get a receipt with all the information you need for your bookkeeping after the class is paid for.

Q: IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY REGISTRATION, DO I GET MY MONEY BACK?

A: Right to Withdrawal and Refunds - In accordance with the Swedish law concerning distance contract, you have the right to withdraw from your workshop application within 14 days, from the day you received the order confirmation. Should you do so, we will refund the payment we have received from you in full. Should you wish to withdraw after 14 days from the day you received the confirmation, no refunds will be made.

Q: CAN I RESERVE A SPOT AND PAY LATER?

A: Unfortunately we can’t reserve any spots and it’s first-come, first-served. You have secured your spot as soon as the money shows up on our account.

Q: CAN YOU ONLY PARTICIPATE IF YOU ARE USING LIGHT ELEGANCE PRODUCTS?

A: All classes are brand independent so you can use whatever products you like as long as it's gel.

Q: I HAVEN'T GOT MY DIPLOMA YET BECAUSE I'M STILL UNDER TRAINING, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

A: You can only participate if you are a certified nail artist / received a diploma as proof of your basic gel training participation. One exception is the "Celina Rydén Certified Nail Artist Course" - you can attend the training days as long as you have completed your basic nail training. As soon as you have your basic gel certification / diploma you will be able to attend the certification day and get your "Celina Rydén Certified Nail Artist" title.

Q: I'M ONLY WORKING WITH ACRYLIC, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE?

A: As long as you are a certified nail technician you are allowed to apply for the nail art workshops, however we do not allow acrylic in the studio so you will have to be prepared to paint with gel. For the workshops focusing on structure like for example "Celina Rydén Certified Nail Artist Course", you need to be experienced with gel and gel extensions (with forms or tips).

Q: CAN I BUY ANY PRODUCTS DIRECTLY FROM YOU?

A: Yes, I have a small shop in the studio with some Light Elegance essentials. If you are working in Sweden your diploma has to be SASA approved in order to be able to shop. If your diploma is not SANSA approved you are however allowed to try out and test some of the Light Elegance products I provide for the students to use at the workshops.

Q: WHEN WILL YOU COME TO MY COUNTRY / CITY?

A: My schedule usually depends on the Light Elegance distributors in each country. If you want me to visit your city or country, try sending an email to your closest distributor and request a workshop. If you don't have a Light Elegance distributor, you can also contact a nail school in your area and ask them to contact me for more information.
